Call for Proposals : Workshops or Panel Discussions
People interested in organizing workshops and panel discussions should submit a 500-700 word proposal following the provided guidelines.
Workshops and panel discussions are expected to be interactive and should actively engage the audience. Workshops should incorporate active learning strategies, while panel discussions should include facilitated Q&A time as part of the program. Workshops can vary in format but should encourage discussions between participants and facilitators. For instance, a workshop could start with a short introductory presentation outlining its goals and intended outcomes, followed by activities that promote collaborative participation.
We encourage the development of workshops and panel discussions that appeal to a wide audience, taking into account that the conference aims to target academic management, researchers, engineering students, and industry professionals. Therefore, workshops should avoid overly academic or scientific language. If theories or research are included for context, they should preferably be presented in layman's terms.
Workshops and panel discussions that address multiple sectors, such as management, research, students, and industry, are especially welcomed; you do not specifically have to focus only on one of these sectors.
The submission and review process for workshops and panel discussions is different from that for full paper contributions. Proposals will be reviewed by the relevant committee. Applicants will be notified of the review outcome, and the committee may recommend merging proposals that have overlapping topics.
Please note that facilitators of workshops or panel discussions must register in full for the conference.
